I am fortunate enough to have known Helen for a number of years, both as a fellow athlete and a Sports Science professional. I have always been impressed by her enthusiasm and passion to help others develop and succeed in their chosen fields. She constantly strives to build and develop her knowledge base in order to provide clients with the best possible service and to establish the training methods that work best for them. As an international athlete, Helen has helped me improve my training quality and performance by introducing new techniques to my programme that help me stay ahead of my competition.
Through Helen, I have also been fortunate enough to be introduced to Frontier Performance and the services they can provide to both individual athletes and teams looking to unlock potential and get the most from their performance. I was instantly impressed by Chris’s knowledge and experience within the industry; recovering from an ankle injury and hoping not to hinder my chances of playing in the Women’s World Cup this year, Chris recommended a number of rehab mobility and strengthening exercises, that have got me back on the field way ahead of the curve.
I cannot recommend the team at Frontier Performance enough – the professional conduct of the coaches, combined with the knowledge and experience they hold between them is second to none.
I am in the unique position to be able to comment on Chris’s about both as a colleague and a client.
As Director of Research & Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at Pure Sports Medicine in London, I worked alongside Chris for 4 years. We shared many successful patients/clients, which is down to Chris’s excellent understanding of what it is to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team. He communicates well & has a comprehensive understanding of the human musculoskeletal system, allowing therapist & coach to work together to optimise rehabilitation.
As a client, I took Chris’s direction in Q1 of 2016 when I decided I’d had enough of being a lazy academic & needed to get healthy. There were no false promises, no quick fixes & no fads: just a comprehensive, consistent approach to training supplemented by solid nutritional advice. As a result, my exercise mojo has returned & I’m training regularly with great results.
